We have one junior-focused badmintion club in Palmerston North:
Palmerston North Junior Badminton Club
Wednesdays 6-7:30pm, PNINS Gym, South St entrance
Runs Wednesdays during school terms
Juniors players can also get involved by attending one of the following:
– Development Squad (Thursdays during term time at CET Arena at 6.15pm-7:15pm). $70 per term.
– Thursday Night League (Thursday Night Badminton League (TNBL) takes place almost every week and runs throughout the year. This is a 4-person team competition that caters for players of all abilities. Teams are graded and the competition runs in ‘Rounds’ that usually include 5 weeks of play.)
– Book a court (Thursdays for most of the year at CET Arena at either 6pm-7:30pm or 7:30pm-9pm) – note that courts available to book are limited and offered on a first-come-firsts-served basis. $20 per court per 1.5 hours.
– Junior Rep Programme (Tuesdays from February to September at various venues and times depending on age group. Players interested should attend the Open Days at CET Arena during 3 Tuesdays in February each year.
– Attend a Senior Club (see details below). Suitable for older juniors who just want to play casually.

Runs first Tuesday in March until end of November
